2010 Annual Meeting
The weather was perfect for the 2010 Annual Meeting, Potluck and Horsey Stuff Auction held on Saturday, February 6th. President, Marsha Putnam was able to get The Singing Cowboys-Rex Battestilli and Dan Crampton to entertain at our Annual Meeting. They were wonderful! If you missed the Annual Meeting, you will have another chance to hear them play at the DAMN Ride, Saturday July 24th.
Don Brown was our auctioneer for the "Horsey Auction" and we had many items to be auctioned of this year. This auction is the major fundraiser for our organization. A very special thank you goes to those individuals and businesses who donated items for our auction and especially Sue Chant who was able to secure a large number of local business donations. These donations will help fund trail maintenance and special projects in the coming year.
At our meeting was Scott, one of the Sleepy Hollow park personnel, selling 2010 Michigan State Park annual vehicle stickers. Donated door prizes this year were a 2010 MI State Park sticker, $25 gift card to Wire Horse, and (2) $10 gas cards.
Thanks to all who attended and brought wonderful food and purchased donated items. We appreciate your support.
