2011 Annual Meeting

The weather was perfect for the 2011 Annual Meeting, Potluck and Horsey Stuff Auction held on Saturday, February 5th. The Singing Cowboys-Rex Battestilli and Dan Crampton - along with Pat Brown provided the entertainment at our Annual Meeting. As you can see on the video, they were wonderful singing the old-time cowboy songs that we can all sing along to.

Don Brown and Floyd Fisher were our auctioneers for the "Horsey Auction". We had many items to be auctioned of this year. This auction is the major fundraiser for our organization. A very special thank you goes to those individuals and businesses who donated items for our auction and especially Sue Chant who was able to secure a large number of local business donations and Linda Kraai for all the great items she brought. These donations help fund trail maintenance and special projects this summer.

Park Manager, Tim Machowicz, talked to the group about upcoming trail expansion and the Fred Meijer CIS Trail. Everyone listened intently as we are all anxious to add more horse accessible miles to the trail system. Tim also answered questions about the new Michigan Recreation Passport.
