MApHA Trail Ride
The Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association (MApHA) decided in 2008 to organize some Michigan trail rides to offer members activities that would compliment the horse shows put on by MApHA every year. On Saturday, October 4, 2008, riders met at Sleepy Hollow State Park for a day ride. We had a beautiful day for a ride out at Sleepy Hollow State Park. It started out a bit cold loading up at home, but it warmed into a nice day by the time we got to the park. Not too hot, not too cold, and no bugs! We had a nice fun, relaxed ride and good company! We rode each loop and took a break for lunch. It was such a nice day, we decided to ride another loop again before packing up for home.
