December 10-12th
A beautiful winter day gave Gale "Clinger" Moore a chance to work some of his "magic" on designing and then installing railing on the East Loop Bridge, in The Big Woods. The steel tube safety rail was partially funded by a grant from the Michigan Horse Council. Assisting Gale on this project were Don Brown and Mike & Cathi Wood.

Upcoming project...removing the angled ash tree before it uproots and takes out part of the bridge.

April 9th
Because we had such a rainy spring, the trails were too muddy to work on. We were limited to working in the staging area picking up winter debris and getting the grounds ready for spring riding season.

Taking down a dead branch in the big oak next to the sand pit.
*SNAP* there it goes!
Tackling the brush at the west end of the staging area. This will gives horses more room while on the picket line eliminating the possiblity of getting hung up in it.
